"Ballerina Chop Plate in Dove Grey"

...Offered here is the large version of the
Ballerina Chop Plate in Dove Grey Glaze...

Produced by Universal Potteries, Inc. of Cambridge,
Ohio from the late 1940's through the 1950's...

This piece has a diameter of ~12 1/4", tab-handles
excluded, ~13 1/4" if included...

There is a slight bit of glaze variance, as is typical
with some production pieces...

At the underside of one of the tab-handles, I
note a tiny flea-bite, which might easily be
a factory flaw...

There is minimal utensil wear, the glaze remaining
bright and glossy...

Other than noted, there are no nicks, chips, cracks,
hairlines or  repairs, and the piece is
not crazed...

...The under-glaze (stamp) mark at the back
is as  shown...

A wonderful, purely retro piece of tableware
from one of America's most popular
dinnerware lines.....$25.00
