"Folk Pottery Pig Planter"

...This cute little oinker is probably quite old; I have labeled him as "Folk Pottery" because
there's no indication of manufactor...at his tallest ear tip, he's ~ 3 3/4" tall;
From snout to rear, ~ 4 3/4" long...
The planter opening atop his back is ~ 2" by ~ 1 5/8"...
You can see in the images, remnants of red paint which was definitely cold-painted...

No nicks, chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs are noted, but let me tell you,
the little guy is crazed all-over, inside and out, with the exceptions of the soles of his feet...
I have noted a few pin-hole sized glaze firing-pops, and a bit of discolouration
internally, from use...

I believe him to be salt-glazed, though I could be wrong...

...A wonderful addition to someone's collection, he's "not too big,
and not too small".....
