"Honey Bee Honey Jar"

...We probably all remember someone in our family had one of
these: a Table-top Honey Jar  in the likeness of a
Bee Hive, the "Queen Bee" as a finial, the
Jar portion itself with 4 "Workers" in
relief surrounding the hive...

The Lid portion is notched, allowing for a spoon or
"drizzler" to be in place...

This piece is unmarked: a novelty ceramic item, probably
of Japanese origin...there are no nicks, chips, cracks,
hairlines or repairs, and there is no crazing.

It stands ~ 4 3/4" Finial-High, and is ~ 3 5/8"
diameter at the base...a retro, 60's piece......
