...I believe this series of Postal Comemorative Plates was a Bicentennial Issue (#7-8)... Each plate measures ~ 7 5/8" diameter, and features a diffrent Historical Postage Stamp replica centrally... Each is Back-marked "Made Exclusively for Harrison House", giving the Issue Number of that particular series... ALL plates available (Issues 1 - 8) are numbered Identically, "Plate No. 1139"...This can only suggest that either they were purchased as a set when issued, or the purchaser had a standing subscription, being issued the identical plate numbers when they were fired... All fired-on transfer work is in excellent condition, as are the silver stenciled borders... All plates are perfect, without nicks, chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs...
